Analysis and Design of a High-Frequency Isolated Dual-Transformer DC-DC Resonant Converter

This paper presents the operation, analysis, design, simulation, and experimental results for a proposed Dual-Transformer DC-DC Resonant Converter (DTRC). A three-arm bridge is employed on input side an H-type output of DTRC, two bridges are connected with high-frequency (HF) transformers. By optimizing ratio k HF transformers, DTRC has lower boundary power losing zero-voltage switching (ZVS). That means wider ZVS operation range loss when compared traditional soft-switching pulse width modulation (PWM) resonant converter. The principle, transfer, characteristics, design procedures analyzed in detail. Both simulation prove feasibility superiority Converter.
